Highly recommended, although it's worth noting that I was tent-camping so my experience might vary. That said, the staff were very accommodating and the location is arguably the best in town for campers. Few minutes walking to the malecón, but far enough that the ruckus doesn't follow. There's and OXXO store a couple of blocks away in addition to restaurants and taquerias. Each palapa had power outlets (not sure if the RV slots have 110 or 220), water hookups at each site, and all had fantastic views. It's guarded 24/7 and in one of the safest corners in town so no worries about one's stuff. Absolutely will come back and or recommend to anyone visiting.
Even with a couple thousand people camping on the beach we had an enjoyable experience at Playa Bonita RV, camping, hotel.
We had a great time. Rooms are more spacious than we expected, really clean and well kept. Our room #8 had two queen beds plus a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully stock up with pots, plates, cups, utensils. Any kind of appliances, you may ask the front desk and they can let you use it. Beds and pillows were comfortable. They provided you with room towels, but not beach towels, take your own. The beach is less than 200 ft away and there's 3 palapas that are reserved for the hotel. But you can still take your canopy or umbrella if driving to this location. Overall, we are definitely going back. It was a busy week when we went and the camping side had ppl with really loud speakers playing Banda ALL DAY, since 9 am until like 6pm. It would've been nice to be able to listen to our own little speaker with the music we wanted. The big big trash cans needed to be emptied out more often. Otherwise, everything was great!! We loved Playa Bonita!! They took us in when everyone was super booked! And we were short on pesos. They were so nice and accommodating and our Jeep and Razor were secure behind their security gate. I have never been treated so well. We will definitely be returning because their rates are definitely fair. Thank you Playa Bonita!!
Great place to stay! My family has been coming to Baja for many years and the people at Playa Bonita are very welcoming and friendly. The facilities are well maintained and the prices are very reasonable. The beach access is also amazing - the best and most beautiful (bonita) beach in San Felipe and surrounding areas! For years coming here, they have electricity, hot water, few blocks you could walk to malecon, you could camp, rv or rent a condo with beach views
Stayed here in our 34ft RV for a week with full hookups, definitely use a surge protector, beautiful place right by the beach, and near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The people who work here are very nice. Would definitely stay here again!
I found this place by accident, our usual place was booked. Never will I ever go to our (last) "usual place" this has become our new usual place. Nice little condo. Kitchen, living room dining room, fully stocked kitchen. This place is the best!
